Joseph is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Zoetis., an $8 billion animal health company based in Parsippany, NJ. In this role, he oversees financial management, planning, operations, and business development initiatives. He joined in June 2021, after having spent 13 years in executive positions at Catalent, a global leader in pharmaceuticals, biologics and consumer health products.
In October 2022, He was appointed to the New York Fed’s Second District Advisory Council, effective immediately. The Second District Advisory Council, which is comprised of senior business leaders, generally meets three times a year to provide the New York Fed President and New York Fed leadership with high-level insights about business and economic conditions in the Second District. Members of the Council serve three-year terms.
In 2022 he told Forbes: “It is easy to assign finance to a cost management role, but I strongly believe that our function has to be as great stewards of the company’s assets and as growth champion. We have the unique vantage point of seeing across all operations, from R&D and sales to manufacturing, and finding ways to drive growth and transformation through capital allocation and partnering with other functions. That is my passion as a CFO.”
Before joining Catalent, Joseph held a variety of senior financial positions at the industrial distribution company HD Supply, Hughes Supply, and PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor and strategic financial advisor across a variety of industries.
He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC); a non-executive board member of Ashland Global (ASH)
