Island Routes recently announced that many of its signature Jamaica experiences are once again open and welcoming guests, with additional tours coming back online in the days ahead. The company continues to work closely with partners to ensure every experience meets its highest standards of safety and enjoyment.
“We are proud of our team and partners across Jamaica who have worked tirelessly to bring our operations back safely,” said Ryan Terrier, CEO of Island Routes. “The strength and resilience of Jamaica is unmatched. As our experiences come back online, each guest who returns plays a real role in keeping Jamaica’s spirit thriving, all while enjoying the authentic, one-of-a-kind adventures that define us.”

Island Routes’ powerboat and catamaran tours – the brand’s signature experiences – in Negril and Ocho Rios are expected to be fully operational by December 6. Island Routes also anticipates re-launching MINI-Routes “Drive Your Own” Adventures by that date, allowing guests to explore the island with an expert guide.
Several ATV adventures and river tours are also back in operation on select days across the island. While some routes may be modified to ensure safety and enjoyment, guests can anticipate a full return to the signature water and land experiences that get them closer to the Caribbean.
In Ocho Rios, Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River Falls have both resumed operations, offering a full lineup of activities for visitors staying in the area. Animal encounter experiences have also reopened, operating on select days as the attractions continue phased returns. Other reopened experiences include the Bob Marley culture tours and the Main Street Rose Hall shopping experience.
