The ministry also emphasized its commitment to due process, assuring the public that all investigations will be conducted thoroughly, fairly, and without interference. Officials stressed that protecting the integrity of the process remains a top priority as inquiries continue.
While authorities did not disclose when the alleged incidents occurred or the number of persons involved, the ministry underscored that the welfare, dignity, and protection of all trainees and officers within the Guyana Police Force are paramount.
The government said it remains committed to strengthening accountability and professional standards within the security forces, noting that any breach of trust will be met with decisive action.
