Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers came to a close on Monday with decisive performances across Groups C, D, and E, and three Caribbean programs, Haiti, Jamaica, and Bermuda, emerged with plenty to celebrate as the road to the Final Round took shape.
Haiti: Perfection in Group C
Haiti capped off a flawless group stage with a commanding 3–0 victory over Guatemala at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao, sealing the Group C title in emphatic fashion.

The tone was set almost immediately. In just the 4th minute, Krystel Châtelain reacted quickest to a rebound after Kyrah Lormil’s penalty was blocked, putting Haiti ahead early. Keisha Gue doubled the advantage one minute later, finding space and blasting home a confident finish. Haiti struck again just before halftime, as Kerdina Lamour converted from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time.
The win completed a dominant group run for Haiti, who finished undefeated, scoring 17 goals while conceding just one—an authoritative statement as they advanced to the Final Round.
Jamaica: Grit and Resilience Define Group D Triumph
Jamaica secured the Group D crown with a hard-earned 1–0 win over Honduras at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba, showing both composure and resilience under pressure.
The decisive moment came in the 44th minute when Elizabeth Miller rose above the defense to head home a perfectly delivered corner from Shennell Walters. The Reggae Girlz were then tested heavily in the second half after Ricquanna Richards was shown a red card in the 57th minute.
Despite playing a player down for more than 30 minutes, Jamaica held firm defensively, shutting down Honduras’ attacks to preserve the narrow lead. The victory completed an impressive group campaign for Jamaica, who finished with three wins and a draw to book their place in the Final Round.
Bermuda: Breaking Through as a Best Second-Place Finisher
While not topping their group, Bermuda still achieved a major milestone by advancing as one of the tournament’s two best second-place teams. Their progression underscores the growing competitiveness of the program and ensures they remain part of the Final Round conversation alongside group winners Haiti and Jamaica.
With Round One now complete, Haiti and Jamaica move forward as group winners brimming with confidence, while Bermuda advances with momentum earned through consistency and determination. Together, the trio adds strong Caribbean representation to the Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers, setting the stage for the next chapter in their qualification journey.
