KINGSTON, Jamaica — Three of Jamaica’s premier hotels have been ranked among the top 10 hotels in the Caribbean and Central America in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, reaffirming the island’s reputation as a leader in world-class hospitality.
The Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios placed #4, followed by S Hotel Montego Bay at #5 and S Hotel Kingston at #7. These distinctions highlight Jamaica’s growing diversity in tourism offerings, from coastal luxury to urban sophistication.

Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett praised the recognition as “a testament to Jamaica’s unmatched hospitality, service excellence, and the continued diversification of our tourism product.” He added, “These three hotels represent the very best of Jamaica—from timeless luxury in Ocho Rios to a vibrant boutique all-inclusive in Montego Bay, and a sophisticated urban retreat in Kingston. Together, they embody the creativity and world-class standard of our tourism offerings.”
Kyle Mais, General Manager of Jamaica Inn, expressed gratitude to loyal guests and staff for maintaining the hotel’s legacy of elegance and warmth.

Since opening in 1950, Jamaica Inn has become one of the Caribbean’s most iconic boutique resorts, known for its serene charm and famous guests, including Marilyn Monroe and Katharine Hepburn.
Christopher Issa, CEO of S Hotels Jamaica, celebrated the dual recognition of his properties, noting that S Hotel Kingston’s inclusion marked an important milestone.

S Hotel Montego Bay continues to be a standout in the region, earning multiple awards from Condé Nast Traveler, TripAdvisor, and USA Today over the years.
