Audiomack, the music streaming and artist discovery service, and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, in partnership with Brooklyn recording artist Baby Gee and several community organizations, will host the 6th Annual Anti-Gun Violence Rally “Kick, Push, Restore” on Thursday, July 23, at Substance Skate Park in Williamsburg.
The free community event brings together youth, families, artists, community leaders and advocates for an evening of skateboarding, music, mentorship and resource sharing designed to promote violence prevention, encourage positive youth engagement and strengthen community connections.

“Preventing gun violence requires strong partnerships that engage young people before violence has a chance to take root,” said [District Attorney Eric Gonzalez. “Kick, Push, Restore demonstrates what is possible when community organizations, artists, local leaders and public institutions come together to create safe spaces, build trust and provide positive opportunities for Brooklyn’s youth.”
Now in its sixth year, the Anti-Gun Violence Rally returns under the theme “Kick, Push, Restore,” introducing a new initiative that uses culture, recreation and community partnerships to create opportunities for young people while highlighting the importance of investing in safe spaces and positive alternatives to violence.
Brooklyn artist Baby Gee, who has built a growing platform through his music and community outreach, will help lead this year’s initiative alongside local organizations committed to empowering the next generation.
“This event is about giving back to the community that helped shape me,” Baby Gee (17) said. “I want young people to know there are positive paths available to them and that there are people who believe in their potential. If we can inspire even one person to choose a different direction, we’ve accomplished something meaningful.”
The event also coincides with National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, underscoring the connection between community support, youth engagement and overall well-being. Organizers say providing safe environments where young people can connect through music, sports and mentorship plays an important role in strengthening communities and promoting positive mental health.
Attendees can participate in skateboarding competitions, interactive activities, live music, community discussions, and youth-focused activations throughout the evening. The event will also feature giveaways, food, and opportunities to connect with organizations providing year-round services and resources throughout Brooklyn.

This year’s rally is made possible through a collaborative effort between Audiomack and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, alongside a coalition of community leaders and organizations dedicated to creating positive opportunities for Brooklyn’s youth. Partners include Baby Gee; Fresher of Phenomenal Forces; Dr. UniQue C. Starks Director of Community Restorative Justice Initiatives Kings County District Attorney’s Office; MelQuan of Save the Generation; Kayla of East Flatbush Village; Ezra, Community Ambassador; Sha Black of TAONA House; Mista, who will serve as event host; Maryam of STAR Initiatives; Echoes of Incarnation; and Eat with Siri. Together, these partners are working to foster safer neighborhoods through mentorship, community engagement, and youth-focused programming.
