American rapper Cardi B has withdrawn from her scheduled performance at BZR WKND Jamaica, just 10 days before she was due to headline the festival’s main concert at the National Stadium in Kingston.
The rapper’s representatives confirmed on October 8 that she would no longer perform at the October 18 event. No reason was provided for the cancellation. Her appearance had been promoted as one of the festival’s main attractions and was expected to mark her Jamaican debut.

“Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026,” her representatives told Billboard. They said the rapper appreciated the support of her Jamaican fans and hoped to see them in the future.
Her team directed questions about ticketing and the event’s status to the organisers, adding that announcements about Cardi B’s future performances would be made through her official channels.
Cardi B was announced as the headline performer earlier this year for Cardi B & Friends, scheduled for October 18. At the festival’s media launch in August, her manager, Kelvin Santiago, said she was excited about performing for Jamaican audiences. The show was also promoted as her first headlining stadium concert in the Caribbean.
The announced line-up includes Grammy-nominated R&B singer Keyshia Cole, with dancehall artiste Spice named as host. Jamaican performers Shaneil Muir, Malie Donn, Ding Dong and Stalk Ashley were also added to the bill.
BZR WKND is scheduled to run from October 16 to 19, with activities spanning music, culture, food, tourism, fashion and entertainment. The programme includes a welcome party on October 16 and the TIDAL RAVE Beach Party on October 17, ahead of the advertised main concert.
As of October 8, Cardi B’s representatives had not announced a reason for her withdrawal. They also directed ticket holders and those seeking information about the festival to its organisers. The status of the remaining events and any arrangements for affected patrons should therefore be confirmed directly with BZR WKND.
