Victoria had a particularly keen insight, style, and class in the way she wrote. A true journalist Victoria took on her assignments with zeal, she did in-depth research capturing the true essence of her subject.
Carib News is not the only beneficiary of Victoria’s journalistic talent and skills, and contributed to and wrote for several black-owned publications.
Victoria had a special touch, providing a unique point of view. Our readers loved her column. They were newsy and contemporary. They covered breaking stories. Whatever was happening in the community, she made the reader feel as if they were getting the inside scoop.
That was Victoria’s style.
Victoria was beyond just a journalist.
She was a keen business person in media, in real estate, strongly connected and dedicated to the advancement of the community, and always looking for opportunities to point out where community, businesses, institutions, and agencies could benefit.
She brought a rare sense of connectivity to the community, bringing information from outside to inform our community and always looking for ways to move the community ahead and inform.
She was a truly dedicated individual, a lady of class and style, and one that would always take the time for a meaningful conversation and exchange of ideas that was always up to date and, of course, to benefit the person participating in the conversation.
She will truly be missed because she knew the community was interested and always wanted to be helpful.
May she Rest in Peace because she did tremendous good for so many on this earth.
