The Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2025, with the theme “No Place Like Home,” was formally inaugurated presenting a weekend to remember for carnival lovers. The topic prepares the audience for a memorable celebration of spirit, creativity, and culture.
Several cabinet members, including Minister of Tourism Randall Mitchell, attended the launch celebration on November 23, 2024, in Carnival City, Queen’s Park, Savannah.

Public admission was free, and the all-star celebration provided the ideal backdrop for the carnival festivities the next year.
The National Carnival Commission Chairman, Winston “Gypsy” Peters, said at the ceremony that the ceremony marks the official beginning of arrangements for the much-anticipated Carnival Season, calling it the greatest carnival experience on earth that commemorates the nation’s culture. The Carnival will take place from March 3 to 4, 2025, with month-long events and activities prearranged to set the stage for the final parade.
Peters added that the event will highlight Trinidad and Tobago’s rich Carnival traditions to draw both domestic and foreign audiences while bolstering the country’s tourism industry as a whole. The Chairman also reminded the attendees that they could anticipate performances by well-known Soca and calypso artists like Nadia Batson, Patrice Roberts, KMC, and Kernal Roberts, as well as several well-known steel orchestras like Massy Trinidad All Stars and Republic Bank Exodus.
With steel pan, live music, and traditional mas features, the NCC also promises a varied roster that will encapsulate the spirit of the Trinbagonian Carnival.
Peters explained that the launch has set the tone for a season that is expected to deliver an amazing cultural experience that will combine community, tradition, and festivity at its finest. The events will serve as a reminder to everyone that nothing compares to Trinidad and Tobago when it comes to Carnival.
Pan, Parang, Mas, and a host of other thrilling activities will be part of the Carnival celebrations, giving guests an experience they won’t soon forget.
