On December 29, 2023, businesswoman Anesha Narine-Boodhoo was abducted from her El Socorro job. She has since been reunited with her family.
The Hunters Search and Rescue Team (HSRT) verified that Narine-Boodhoo had been located safely, on December 26, 2023.

According to reports, she was discovered at four in the morning and sent right away to the hospital, where she was given medical care.
She is said to be unhurt physically but shaken.
She was visited in hospital by a team under the direction of Senior Superintendent Edwards, according to reports.
Three males are accused of snatching Narine-Boodhoo and loading her into a black Toyota SUV with blue lights, license plate number PDY 1325. The people who abducted her were wearing tactical gear.
About her return, no more information was provided.
