Jamaican Dancehall star Vybz Kartel has been making waves in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as he was recently spotted with staff from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH). A photo of Kartel with the hospital team was shared on Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves’ Facebook page, accompanied by a caption praising the medical professionals for their world-class services. The post highlighted that Vybz Kartel and his team had expressed high commendation for the care they received at the facility.
On Monday, Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, had breakfast with Prime Minister Gonsalves, as seen in a brief video shared on his Instagram page. This visit comes after the artist’s 13-year imprisonment for murder, a conviction that was ultimately overturned by the Privy Council. Following this, the local Court of Appeal ordered that Kartel would not be retried in the case.

Despite his legal victory, the “Summer Time” deejay has been grappling with several health issues, including Graves’ disease and heart problems. Local media in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) reported that Kartel was considering three countries for further medical treatment, with SVG being one of them.
Since arriving in SVG over the weekend, Vybz Kartel has also been seen staying active, engaging in workout sessions.
