Jamaican-American actress Sheryl Lee Ralph is once again nominated for an Emmy for her role in “Abbott Elementary”, and we are ecstatic for her. Last year she won best supporting actress in a comedy for playing Barbara, the school’s veteran teacher, and she could repeat it again.
About this nomination she said, “I feel like I’ve been hit with a bag of emotions, and most of them are so wonderful.”

Other nominees in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category include Ayo Edebiri, The Bear; Janelle James, Abbott Elementary; Hannah Waddingham, Ted Lasso; Juno Temple, Ted Lasso and Jessica Williams, Shrinking.
