Interestingly, this is the eleventh UK single to receive a Gold or higher certification for Sean Paul.
The 1967 song of the same name by Alton Ellis was interpolated into the song “I’m Still In Love With You,” which was produced by Steely & Clevie and Murray Elias. It reached its highest position at No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 14 on the US Hot 100.
It was featured on Sean Paul’s Grammy-winning album Dutty Rock, which took home the Best Reggae Album title.
Director X, then known as Little X, directed the song’s music video, which has had over 509 million views on YouTube. Amidst Dancehall vibrations, it encapsulated the emotional attraction between two ex-lovers. The dance movements were notably led by dancer and choreographer Tanisha Scott.
