A lot of couple’s origin stories began in a time of panic, fear, and isolation which led many to learn about themselves and loved ones and express care, time, and patience during quarantine thus creating a nurturing environment with the ability to fuel one’s courage to love unconditionally and strengthen their relationships.
The love that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky share is one of the many stories we have heard that bloomed beautifully from a gloomy period. Rihanna stated that lockdown pushed her to “let go” when faced with the idea of something that could be beautiful.

The pop icon and Fenty boss shared how the pandemic drew her and the rapper closer, saying the COVID lockdowns marked a turning point in their relationship.
In a recent interview she stated, “COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like God knew we needed to because we were going to start a family.”
“And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready.”
She clarified that the relationship didn’t truly begin to flourish until she gave up her sense of control over it.
“I let God lead and just let go. Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough.”
The ‘The Love on the Brain’ singer stated, “So, when someone sees you completely and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”
Motherhood has brought Rihanna the most satisfaction, she said. The 35-year-old partner of the singer-songwriter has two kids, Riot and RZA.
“The only thing that I knew I wanted, or that I could imagine, was motherhood,” she said.
“I didn’t know how it would come, but it is the best part of my journey so far. Everything else was a surprise.”
