It has been recently revealed that the 2023 Super Bowl’s halftime show featuring Rihanna garnered the highest number of viewers ever, according to updated Nielsen statistics for television.
Previously, Rihanna’s performance was ranked as the second-most-watched halftime show in history.

The Bajan national hero’s and Fenty boss’s triumphant return to the stage after a five-year absence reportedly attracted 121 million viewers, according to Nielsen. The “Love on the Brain” entertainer used the Super Bowl stage to not only reintroduce herself to music fans everywhere but also used the highly publicized occasion to show off her growing baby bump. The pop icon is currently expecting her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky.
On February 12, the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 on Fox, Fox Deportes, and streaming platforms, according to a report from USA Today citing Nielsen. They had earlier said that 113.06 million people had watched the telecast.
The New England Patriots matchup with the Seattle Seahawks at Super Bowl 49 in 2015 attracted 114.4 million viewers, breaking the previous record. Katy Perry was the featured performer of the halftime performance that year.
