Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Yvette D. Clarke (NY-09) held press conferences to deliver specialized grant funding to CAMBA, Inc. and to the Council of Peoples Organization (COPO). A total of $3 million dollars in Community Project Funding was awarded to CAMBA, Inc. for capital improvements to the organization’s headquarters building – home to 103 employees across Human Resources, Strategic Partnerships, Fiscal, Budget, Payroll, Purchasing, COVID Response, and IT teams. A total of $750,000 dollars in Community Project Funding was awarded to COPO to support the procurement of a permanent community service center.
