Jimmy Cliff’s most recent studio album, Refugees, is placed number 22 on Spin Magazine’s list of the top 22 albums of 2022.

Publisher Bob Guccione Jr. launched the American music publication Spin in 1985. Next Management Partners currently owns Spin. Since it ceased publishing a print version in 2012, the magazine only exists online.
SZA’s SOS, Jack White’s Entering Heaven Alone, Angelique Kidjo and Ibrahim Maalouf’s Queen of Sheba, and Tears for Fears’ The Tipping Point are among the influential albums that made the list (number four).
And, in the Darkness, Hearts Glow by Weyes Blood is the top book on the list.
Refugees, Cliff’s most recent album of original music in more than a decade, was released in August of last year. There are 13 songs in total, including Here I Am, Racism with Lilty Cliff, We Want Justice with Dwight Richards, and Refugees (with Wyclef Jean).
Sunpower Productions NY Limited and Universal Music Group Recordings jointly published the album (UMG).
