The murderer’s aunt, Christine Watson, 61, is still recovering in the hospital from stabbing wounds.
In a rear room of the house on Beach 22 Street in Far Rockaway, Queens, the remains of the husband, wife, and 12-year-old were found.
The eleven-year-old girl was found on the property’s lawn, suffering from stab wounds, from which she later passed away in the hospital.
According to other reports, the son-in-law just moved to the US from Jamaica.
Watson’s teenage daughter broke through a window to escape the chaos and dialed 911, reporting that her family members were being killed by a cousin.
The cops who responded to the 911 call fatally shot Courtney Gordon, 38, who is reportedly Watson’s nephew.
After attacking and slashing one cop, he was shot.
Once the authorities gained entry to the property, the remaining victims were discovered within the house.
After receiving medical attention at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, both police officers were released on Sunday night.
According to police sources, Gordon was leaving the residence with a suitcase when one of the responding cops, who had been wounded with a knife, managed to grab a gun and shoot and kill Gordon. Gordon had also reportedly fought the officers who had stopped him from interviewing him.
According to reports, a coach in the living room caught fire, making it impossible for other responding police officers to enter the house.
After arriving, the fire brigade extinguished the flames.
When officers broke into the house, they discovered that Taylor, 12, and her spouse had been fatally stabbed.
Watson was hospitalized after suffering numerous stab wounds, and his status is currently categorized as critical.
According to reports, the offender, Gordon, has been charged with domestic violence in the Bronx before.
According to the New York Daily News, Gordon’s sister informed the publication that his aunt brought him into the Far Rockaway house after he had been homeless.
A local newspaper has received reports that there have been several police calls to the residence due to disruptions.
Gordon’s stabbings came after another Jamaican, who also lived in Queens, killed three people with stabbings at the home he owned.
The 54-year-old Jamaican landlord, David Daniel, has been accused of three charges of murder. When he was taken into custody, he informed police that he “just snapped.”
Daniel, who immigrated to the US from Kingston, informed police that he had done something wrong when he entered the 113th police station in Queens two Tuesdays ago.
Three people—two women and one man—were found dead from stab wounds when police arrived at the St. Albans, Queens, home he owned.
The three individuals were recognized as Coleen Fields, 51, Evette Sweeney, 55, and Wayne Thomas, 57.
While Fields—rumored to be Daniel’s girlfriend—was found dead in an upper-floor bedroom, Sweeney and Thomas were found dead in a basement bedroom.
Assistant Chief Kevin Williams stated that Daniel disclosed to authorities that he was experiencing a great deal of stress.
Three charges of first-degree murder, three counts of second-degree murder, and criminal possession of a weapon have been brought against Daniel.
During the arraignment, prosecutors informed the court that they would be asking for life in prison without the chance of release.
Based on evidence gathered by the authorities, it seems that Thomas and Sweeney were not paying rent even though they had promised Daniel they would start paying again after the COVID-19 outbreak, during which period they had not paid rent.
According to reports, Daniel’s failure to collect rent from the renters placed him and his girlfriend at odds, and they had regular arguments.
