At the age of 34, Angelique Angarni-Filopon became the oldest woman to win the title of Miss France. She was a native of Martinique and the winner of the Miss France 2024 pageant, which recently modified its regulations to permit contestants who are older than 24.
Angelique described her journey in her acceptance speech, stating, “Today, it’s the same young woman aged 34 who stands before you to again represent Martinique, its diaspora as well as all the women who were once told that it was too late.”
