On Thursday, Mayor Eric Adams honored two outstanding Caribbean nationals at a gala ceremony at Gracie Mansion during the annual Caribbean-American Heritage Month celebrations.
Adams honored Jamaican Patricia Chin, co-founder of VP Records in Jamaica, Queens, and Trinidadian Michael Manswell, adjunct professor in dance at Lehman College, City University of New York (CUNY) and tutor with Brooklyn-based cultural group, Something Positive, Inc.
