The Jamaica Festival Song Album is being considered for a Grammy nomination. The album, titled ‘Jamaica Festival Song 2023 Competition’, consists of 11 tracks and is currently being reviewed by eligible voting members of the Recording Academy. Their votes will determine the nominees in the Reggae category.
The official announcement of the nominees will take place in November. Minister Olivia Grange, Jamaica’s Culture Minister, expressed her delight at the album being nominated for a third year in a row. It’s a great achievement and reflects the rich musical culture of Jamaica.

The album features songs performed by Slashe, Mento Tones, Avante, Lady Denna & The Whole Note Mento Band, Hot Rod, Shuga, N-Rich, Princess Black, Prince Fabulous, Eric Donaldson, and Exco Levi.
