The Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (HCCI) is gearing up for a milestone celebration with its annual “Let’s Break Bread Together” Gala, honoring four decades of leadership in affordable housing, community development, and economic empowerment. The event will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Marina Del Rey in the Bronx.
Under the guidance of Gala Chair Rev. Shepherd Lee, this year’s gala promises an inspiring evening, bringing together faith leaders, community stakeholders, business partners, and supporters of HCCI’s mission. The organization will recognize an outstanding group of honorees for their exceptional contributions:

The gala will feature a keynote address by Eddie Miller, HCCI Founding Member and Inaugural Financial Secretary, reflecting on the organization’s remarkable journey and impact. The evening will be emceed by Sandra Bookman, celebrated WABC-TV Reporter and Anchor.
