The United States appreciates Grenada’s regional leadership and partnership as we work toward greater security, prosperity, and democracy. This past year, the U.S. government contributed more than $6 million to construct emergency operations centers in Grenada and Carriacou to boost their preparedness and disaster response capabilities. We have stood together to fight COVID-19 as the United
States donated masks, gloves, hazmat suits, and other personal protection equipment to help keep the Grenadian people safe. We also partnered with the Royal Grenada
Police Force Coast Guard to upgrade its nearshore interceptor vessels as part of our work together to improve security for citizens of Grenada and the region.
The United States values the strong relationship between our two countries and wishes the citizens of Grenada a happy Independence Day.

ADAM STEWART EXTENDS SINCERE CONGRATULATIONS TO GRENADA ON ITS 49TH YEAR OF INDEPENDANCE
It is my privilege and sincere pleasure on behalf of my family and the entire Sandals Resorts International organization to extend heartiest congratulations to the country of Grenada on her 49th anniversary of independence.
Having just celebrated a decade as a full-fledged member of this extraordinary destination, I can speak with some authority on her beauty, the charm and kindness of her people and the extraordinary gifts lucky visitors may explore when they are here. From watching leatherback turtles lay their eggs at Levera National Park and hiking Seven Sisters Falls to coming upon the haunting underwater statuary at Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park and sampling the sweetest chocolate, Grenada fills your senses.
My father loved Grenada and dreamed of bringing our brand to its shores. Ten years ago, he did just that, ushering in a new level of luxury with the introduction of Sandals Skypool Suites. The first of their kind, they were an architectural feat, demonstrating what could be done with vision, determination, and the certainty that anything is possible.
Like you, Grenada.
Happy Independence Day. May your best days, always, lie ahead.
