For her Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, Minister Marion Hall has purchased a church structure.
During her sermon on Wednesday, the gospel singer and former dancehall superstar Lady Saw disclosed the location to her virtual followers.

The chapel is located in Tamarac, Florida in the University Commons retail complex, particularly at “6702-6852 North University Drive,” according to Hall, who excitedly flashed her lease.
The church hadn’t opened yet, so at first, she wasn’t sure whether to give out the location. “When the enemy a plot and plan, dem do all kinds of things to fight you, but I sign it (the lease) already, dem cya do nothing,” she noted.
It took a while for the accomplishment to become a reality. When the singer-songwriter of “Sorry to Hurt Your Feelings” launched a US$2 million GoFundMe campaign in August of last year to help purchase a church building, the response was not entirely positive.
Hall established the Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in 2020 after coming to Christendom in 2015. Since then, the church has been live-streaming Wednesday prayers and fasting as well as Sunday services from her social media accounts.
She stated in September that she would be raising money for her dream church building through a performance series called “A Seed of Faith.” She established a makeshift structure near Sunrise, Florida’s Spring Tree Plaza in the interim, and she eventually closed the GoFundMe page.
Last Monday, Hall started a second campaign, this time with a US$50,000 target to finish the new area.
“Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ and Minister Marion Hall are very excited to announce to you all that we have now acquired a space for our congregation and visitors to join us for Sunday worship, Wednesday prayers and fasting service, Bible study’s, and Sunday school,” the campaign’s description said.
“We have also obtain all these musical instruments but are in need of $50,000 for buying material and paying construction workers to do all the necessary work to accommodate members and visitors alike. Your contribution will also go towards the purchasing of chairs, lights, bathrooms, kitchenette, and a small office space for pastors when visiting. We believe 50,000 will cover the cost of all the above. We thank you for your donation in Jesus’s name.”
Although it wasn’t the intended facility, Minister Marion Hall expressed happiness that it was close to 1,200 hotel and multi-family units, increasing the likelihood that she could speak to a larger audience. Popular stores including Quince Supermarket, Yolo Korean BBQ, and Dunkin’ Donuts are all located within the complex.
“Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Florida; that’s where it’s gonna start, but I know God is gonna do an expansion on His time.”
In 2018, Hall received her ordination as an evangelist at Kingston’s Emmanuel Apostolic Church, where she had also received her baptism. Goddy Goddy and Ryan Mark, two of her peers, have also started their own churches.
