On April 26, 2024, in Coral Springs, Florida, a man who was originally from Kingston, Jamaica was shot and killed after what appeared to be a domestic argument.
Stephen G. Austin, a 48-year-old BMW sales and leasing expert, has been identified as the man in question.

According to reports, Austin’s wife and daughter got into a fight at his apartment building in Windsor Coral Springs. There are claims that Austin broke up the fight that turned into a physical altercation between the dead man and his stepson.
Although the stepson is said to have shot Austin to death, Florida authorities have not formally verified this.
Investigators report that a man has been assisting the authorities with information related to the incident. They haven’t revealed the man’s identity, though.
Yet, no one has been taken into custody concerning the event.
Austin a Jamaican College alumni, who goes by “Neil” with fondness, was employed by Stewart’s Automotive before coming to the US more than ten years ago.
