Happy Father’s Day to Patrick James
Father’s Day is a day to celebrate and show appreciation towards all of things your Dad has done for you, big and small. Growing up our Dad made every effort to attend all of our school events, sports games, and coached our recreational leagues. He emphasized the importance of having a strong education, building good habits, and developing discipline in how you approach things in life. I try to emulate these characteristics in my day to day, and I appreciate everything that he’s done for my siblings and myself. Happy Father’s Day, Dad! ~ Cassandra
Father’s Day is a special moment to reflect on the countless selfless acts my dad has done to shape our lives. My journey to becoming a doctor is a testament to his unwavering support and guidance from a young age. I fondly recall him rushing home after a long day to take us to soccer practice and other activities. His leadership at home and in our community has ensured that my siblings and I have enjoyed a fulfilling and blessed life. ~ Tyler

Father’s Day is a time when I can truly express my appreciation for my dad and everything, he has done for me. The greatest lesson he ever taught me was to have strength and resilience in the indomitable human spirit; without it, I would not be the person I am today. ~ Matthew
Father’s Day is a moment in which I can truly appreciate my dad for another year of his hard work to care for our family and prepare me for my future. I think that my favorite memories with my dad are the casual ones. It’s when we’re sitting in the couch or at the dining table chatting about our day and joking about random things. It is in these simple, yet genuine interactions I feel that we grow. Him as my father and I as his daughter, making me especially grateful for these moments. ~ Julia

Tribut to Rev. Dr. David Jefferson Sr. Esq.
Psalm 103:13 reminds us, “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him,” we take great joy in honoring our father, who is Rev. Dr. David Jefferson Sr. Esq. or who we affectionately call DAD!!!
A father’s compassion reflects the divine, a sacred echo of the Lord’s tender care and unwavering love. Our father embodies this verse in every aspect of his life; he has the compassionate nature of God. He has not been just a provider or a protector but a beacon of love, patience, humor, and understanding.
Each of us can warmly recall the patience that he has had with each of us, as we are definitely four unique personalities. He has compassionately fathered each of us in a very unique and special way. In short, our childhood was not a one-size-fits-all playbook! The one thing our dad has ensured is that we all have a strong, personal relationship with God and a good education. His compassionate heart has been evident in the way that he has always desired that we keep God first and care for one another as a family.
Our Dad has made so many selfless sacrifices over the years, never concerned with cars, boats, or attire. His goal was always to ensure that we were safe, exposed to the best, and embraced God in fullness. His faith has been the cornerstone of his character, and it was through his relationship with God that he found the strength to be the father we definitely adore. He has shown us that true compassion is not a fleeting emotion but a steadfast commitment to love and nurture those around us, just as God loves and nurtures us.
We are filled with gratitude for the many lessons he has imparted that continue to shape us into who we are today. His compassion lives in us, inspiring us to carry forward his example of love and kindness.
Thank you, Dad, for reflecting God’s love in our lives. Your compassion lives in each of us and we are so grateful to call you our DAD!!!! ~ Rev. K. L. Williams
