The EP One Drum honors the cultural bonds that bind Africa and its diaspora together. The project’s first single is “Stop Stressing,” which was co-written by Buju Banton and Stephen Marley, two legendary figures in Jamaican music. The Grammy Award-winning group is credited with helping to establish contemporary Jamaican music, and Marley is carrying on his father Bob Marley’s legacy.
Afrobeat and reggae fusion Stop Stressing is created by multi-Grammy Award-winning producer Gordon “The Commissioner” Williams, a South African musical pioneer. The intended meaning of the song is one of optimism and resiliency.
