Even though Bob Marley has been gone for many years, he is still one of the most well-known and instantly identifiable musicians. His innovative attempts to introduce reggae to the globe from his Jamaican birthplace permanently altered the course of the music business. People keep consuming a ton of his stuff because they can’t get enough of him and his distinctive sound.
Marley makes his chart debut this week on a Billboard chart he has never previously reached. Over 40 years after his death, the iconic musician is still making new tallies and hasn’t released any new music in memory of himself.

The most recent edition of the Top Streaming Albums ranking has Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers. Opening at No. 44, the song is credited to both Marley and his band The Wailers. For Marley and his gang, it’s their first inclusion on this particular tally.
The Top Streaming Albums list was first released by Billboard a few months ago. It lists the full-lengths that have the greatest weekly cumulative plays on US streaming services including Apple Music, Spotify, and others. Superstars of today consistently top the list, but older performers have a chance to make an impact and land their first spot if something extraordinary happens.
Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers album debuts on the Top Streaming Albums chart. Because of the publication of a movie about him and his ascent to fame, Marley’s name—along with his music is once again in the news and people’s thoughts. Since its Valentine’s Day premiere, Bob Marley: One Love has made over $120 million at the box office worldwide.
There are just four debuts this week on the Top Album Sales ranking, including Marley and Company. The 50-spot list also contains two new entries from Usher after his Super Bowl Halftime Show headline performance (Coming Home) and Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign (Vultures 1, No. 1).
Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers is rising on many other Billboard charts concurrently with its arrival on the Top Streaming Albums list. As usual, the title leads the push on the Reggae Albums tally and climbs at least four lists.
