This past Saturday, VP Cultural Center next door to the VP Records store in Jamaica Queens held its first book fair. In honor of Black history and Reggae music month, Pat Chin the founder of VP records brilliantly brings together Caribbean Authors and Reggae singers to fuse a culture mix.
The event drew participants of both arts to experience an open atmosphere of respect. Bracing the cold, ardent readers of all ages were excited to see and discuss books that tell of history, music, lifestyles, self-help, and politics while music lovers were excited in meeting the likes of the brilliant, talented, and intelligent, Anthony B along with Turbulence and Pressure all of the Rastafarian culture and received by all.
