The prestigious family-owned luxury jewelry company Balacia, which is Black-owned, was honored to be the official jeweler for the 56th NAACP Image Awards Gift Lounge. The esteemed event, which honored exceptional accomplishments in cinema, television, music, and literature by people of color, was held on February 22, 2025, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Backstage, Balacia, the official jeweler, gave award winners and candidates a customized look at the brand’s outstanding designs by showcasing a unique assortment of fine jewelry. From sophisticated tennis chains to distinctive Balacia timepieces, every item showcased the brand’s dedication to style and workmanship.

Notable awardees who supported Balacia’s jewelry include Michael Rainey Jr., awarded Outstanding Actor for “Power Book II: Ghost”; Grammy & Emmy-winning musician Adam Blackstone, honored for his collaboration with Fantasia; The Wayans Family, inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame; legendary comedian George Wallace; Grammy-winning artist Ledisi; actress Tichina Arnold; social justice advocate Jotaka Eady; actresses Moriah Brown, Pepi Sonuga, and Kylie Jefferson from the film “The Six Triple Eight”; comedian Janelle James from “Abbott Elementary”; NAACP chairman Leon W.
