Everyone was offended by Kanye West’s offensive anti-Semitic comments.
However, some in the music business, including Jamaican 26-year-old vocalist Shenseea, continue to respect the formerly well-known rapper.

The singer reportedly expressed her admiration for the rapper and her desire to soon collaborate with The Life of Pablo hitmaker once more in a Dancehallmag interview.
The “Blessed” singer stated, “I love him, such a mastermind and inspiration,” she tweeted in response to a question which states, “How was your experience working with Ye & would you collab again if you could?”
she remarked, “Yes, we’ll do something again, God’s willing.”
The vibrant and talented vocalist had previously enthused on Twitter about collaborating with the Grammy winner, writing, “I want @kanyewest to mentor my creative directions.”
The Blessed singer described how she initially reacted when Ye’s crew approached her; she initially believed it to be a hoax. “I was like, how would he even know about me,” she added.
She learned that the 2021 Crocodile Teeth freestyle song piqued the music producer’s interest.
In a March 2022 interview with DJ Sourmilk and Justin Credible for the L.A. Leakers, the singer further acknowledged that more than five of her songs had been copied from the rapper’s record.
Shenseea cited West as her influence throughout the conversation. “I love Kanye. Seeing him on social media and being around him is totally different. He’s a true living inspiration,” She spoke.
“The love that he shows me, the way that he embraces me, pulls me in and make me feel like yo I am a part of the team, I love that. He treats me like real family.”
Through her appearances on the Roddy Rich-featuring songs OK OK Pt 2 and Pure Souls from his Donda album, West assisted the Shengyeng vocalist in landing her first two Billboard Hot 100 positions in 2021.
Shenseea was nominated for Album of the Year at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards for her work on Ye’s album.
