On Monday, August 10, Maimonides Health will cut the ribbon to the new Adult and Pediatric Care-7th Avenue facility, designed to make life easier for families by allowing mothers and children to receive care in one convenient location. The center provides adult primary care, OB/GYN, urology, endocrinology and neurology services, as well as pediatric primary care, plus a dedicated playroom and lactation room. Additionally, south Brooklyn women at every stage of life – through menopause to healthy aging can receive comprehensive care close to home.
Conveniently located at 6323 Seventh Avenue, near the Gowanus Expressway and public transportation, the site was chosen after consulting with community partners and patients who identified a need for women’s health services. For patients who need specialized care, the new location is a two-minute walk from the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center. With doctors who speak English, Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin, Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, and Sinhala, Maimonides’ Women’s Health Hub aims to provide culturally-sensitive care to Brooklyn’s diverse communities.
