American tennis legend Venus Williams has officially married longtime partner Andrea Predi, celebrating their union during a wedding ceremony held in Florida over the weekend.
According to Vogue, the couple marked the occasion with two separate wedding ceremonies, beginning with an intimate celebration on September 18 in Ischia, Italy. Williams explained that Italy had long been their dream destination, but logistical challenges required an additional ceremony.

“We had this dream to have our wedding in Italy,” Williams told Vogue. “But we didn’t have enough time to complete the paperwork. Because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months, so we decided to have a second wedding.”
The second ceremony took place in Palm Beach, Florida, and was preceded by a full week of celebrations with family and friends. Williams described the festivities as warm and joyful, reflecting the couple’s love of hosting and bringing people together.
“We love welcoming people into our home every single day, and everyone was eager to have fun with us,” she said.
Williams and Predi became engaged on January 31, 2025, after several years together. The two weddings allowed the couple to honor both their personal connection to Italy and the practical need to formalize their marriage in the United States.
The tennis icon, known for her groundbreaking career and influence on and off the court, now begins a new chapter alongside Predi, surrounded by family, friends, and celebration.
