In La Horquetta, a 17-year-old teenager was shot dead Tuesday evening, just after he got back from a political gathering. The dead have been identified as Silvia Hunt Avenue, Phase 4, La Horquetta, resident Ezeikel Ramdialsingh.
Officers at the La Horquetta Police Station were notified of explosives near Oscar Pyle Crescent in Phase 4, according to the police report.

There was a throng at the site, according to the officers. They found out that Ezekiel had already been taken to the Arima Hospital by ambulance.
From the location, investigators found 14 expended 9mm round casings.
After visiting a local political gathering, Ramdialsingh was reported to the police to have been chilling outside a house with a group of friends. Multiple gunshots rang out, and seconds later, he was found bleeding from the chest.
The adolescent was taken to the hospital by a friend, but he was not able to be rescued.
Fourteen expended 9mm bullet casings were found at the scene by investigators.
Bullets also struck two neighboring parked cars.
Police said there was a gang connection to the shooting. According to his family and acquaintances, Ramdialsingh was not the target and had no affiliation with any group.
