Following the horrific finding of 19 people dead on a ship floating off the shore of Nevis, authorities are looking into the incident.
The vessel was found by the St. Kitts and Nevis Defense Force Coast Guard just before noon on January 29 in response to reports of a boat drifting aimlessly in territorial waters.

Upon inside the ship, Coast Guard officers discovered the somber remains of 19 people.
At this point, officials have not disclosed the origin or intended destination of the vessel, nor have they disclosed the identity of the victims.
Investigators are trying to ascertain the circumstances that led to this catastrophe in St. Kitts, where the yacht has been hauled.
