Workers at the University of the West Indies, Global Campus have resigned, according to the West Indies Group of University Teachers (WIGUT), because they have not received their November salaries.
The action will continue until the issue is resolved properly, it said in a recent media release.

WIGUT revealed that “the current situation has triggered concern amongst the staff as to whether they will receive their December salaries and other outstanding monies on time.”
The union is asking for an urgent meeting with the UWI Global Campus administration.
