The renowned British rock star, who is 79 years old, appeared half his age on October 25, 2024, when he performed at the 2024 Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival Beach Party at the Baha Mar resort in Nassau.
With his upbeat dance routines and several costume changes, Stewart’s performance captivated the small audience from the minute he approached the stage at 10 p.m.

Stewart, who began his 90-minute performance wearing layers of polka dota, continued with hits including “Maggie May,” “Forever Young,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.” He frequently combined these songs with extravagant hip gyrations and fast-paced dancing steps.
About 45 minutes into the performance, the Grammy-winning performer dedicated “Rhythm of My Heart” to the nation’s war-torn population and yelled, “F–k, [Vladimir] Putin.” She had changed into a blue-and-yellow outfit to symbolize the Ukrainian flag.
Stewart has been a vocal supporter of Ukraine during its conflict with Russia; she was even jeered on stage in Germany recently for displaying pictures of the Ukrainian flag and President Volodymyr Zelensky. The singer ended the evening with yet another costume change for “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” a song that has recently gained popularity among younger people due to its TikTok virality.
However, the crooner’s performance was not limited to ticket holders.
In order to witness the performance from the comfort of their own rooms, fortunate SLS hotel guests who had rooms overlooking Baha Mar’s Baha Bay Water Park, which was closed for the beachside party and concert, flocked to their balconies.
In the audience, Maneet Chauhan, Carla Hall, Scott Conant, and celebrity chef Amanda Freitag were also spotted dancing and singing.
Prior to the performance, people wandered the area to sample delectable dishes from the resort’s well-known eateries, which included the Italian mainstay Fi’lia, the steakhouse Carna, and the Japanese hotspot Katsuya, among others.
In 2024, the third-annual Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival was extended to start three days earlier than in previous years, allowing guests to enjoy master workshops, exclusive dinners, demonstrations, and close-up discussions with well-known chefs and artists for a full six days.
Among the other chefs who took part were Dario Cecchini, Marcus Samuelsson, and Geoffrey Zakarian.
Zakarian recently posted on Instagram, saying, “Touched down in paradise ready for all the fun to come with this crazy crew @bahamarresorts @bahamarfestival.”
As for Chauhan, she shared: “Such a spectacular place with amazing people. We can’t wait to celebrate this weekend. Let the adventures begin.”
Last year’s beach bash featured Police leader Sting as the main act.
