Film filmmaker Jonathan Temple, a native of Barbados, is preparing for the UK premiere of his homegrown series Camouflage.
On January 13, a private screening of the dramatic thriller’s pilot episode will take place at the Barbados High Commission on Great Russell Street, London. The episode was shot and produced in Barbados.

The National Cultural Foundation (NCF), the Tourism Development Corporation (TDC), and the British High Commission are all involved in helping to organize the screening.
Temple, the director of Camouflage, sees the screening as a potential opportunity to bring Barbadian filmmakers’ skills to a global audience.
“The primary objective of this strategic move is to showcase Camouflage to a diverse spectrum of industry influencers, including financiers, actors, producers, and various stakeholders within the global filming community,” Temple explained.
“The venture aims to spotlight the richness of Barbadian culture, unveiling the exquisite locations, the sheer talent of local actors, musicians, and a plethora of personalities who bring depth and vibrancy to the silver screen.”
In the movie Camouflage, featuring Temple, Kyle Pinder, and O’Neil M. Smith, two young men viciously rob a guy; however, they are unaware that their victim has a strong connection, and the attack might endanger their lives. As the victim’s father and his group begin to pursue the offenders, the situation quickly becomes deadly.
An idea from 2014, Camouflage would evolve over the next several years with support from the TDC and the NCF, as well as multiple rewrites. An adventure that was completed on February 10 of last year with a private showing at Olympus Theatres.
That day, Temple jokingly called the movie “garbage” and expressed his gratitude that the film’s release had occurred the previous year, as it gave him the opportunity to meet a dedicated and encouraging crew who helped elevate the picture to its current state.
