“At around 8:15 p.m. on the second of January 2024, he was sighted by an active search party along the Blanchisseusse Road. He was arrested and detained without incident,” head of the Police Western Division, Superintendent Sean Henry said, adding that the suspect was taken to the Arima health facility for a medical checkup.
“He appeared to be free of any physical injury but was taken to the Arima health facility where he was medically examined, and it was confirmed that he was without any physical injury. He was then handed over to the homicide bureau …and inquiries are continuing. The family of the deceased has been informed.” (CMC)
