Brooklyn, NY — On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the streets of Brooklyn will come alive with vibrant music, colorful floats, and the spirited energy of the 6th Annual Haitian Cultural Day Parade, proudly presented by Life of Hope (Ayiti Nou La Toujou) in collaboration with Citi Health.
This year’s theme, “One Love, One Haiti,” will showcase the rich cultural heritage of Haiti and highlight its enduring legacy of unity, resilience, pride and the building of strong, vibrant communities— Little Caribbean and Little Haiti Brooklyn, NY, but across the globe!

Haitian Culture Day Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM at the intersection of Toussaint L’Ouverture Blvd. (Nostrand Ave.) and Pierre Toussaint Blvd. (Church Ave.). From there, the parade will wind through the heart of Brooklyn’s Little Caribbean and Little Haiti Brooklyn, continuing toward Flatbush/Nostrand Junction (Hillel Plaza). A lively procession of performances, vibrant floats, marching bands, and stunning costume ensembles will fill the streets, ushering participants and onlookers into an unforgettable day of festivity and cultural pride.
Haitian Culture Day Festivity takes place at Hillel Place Plaza at the Flatbush Junction. This family-friendly, fun-filled event is FREE and offers a variety of activities and entertainment for people of all ages. The day features live musical performances, dancing, celebrity appearances, face painting, arts and crafts, and other fun surprises!
This highly anticipated event, which draws over 10,000 attendees annually, is a joyous celebration of Haitian heritage and culture, creating a shared space for residents and visitors alike to experience the rich traditions of the Haitian and larger Caribbean diaspora.
Haitian Culture Daylong Highlights
- Parade (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Features community organizations, marching bands, dancers, cheerleaders, and floats honoring Haitian culture.
- Plaza Festival (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Hosted by DJ Hard Hittin Harry the festival will feature live music including a headlining performance by the internationally renowned Konpa band T-Vice and the fresh, high-energy Raboday performer AndyBeatz, in addition to local cultural showcase performances, art, open mic sessions, and dance!
- Fair & Family Fun: Savor traditional Haitian and Caribbean cuisine, shop local vendor stalls, and visit community resource booths.
“May is recognized as Haitian Heritage Month in New York State,” and the Haitian Culture Day Parade is more than just a celebration — it’s a powerful acknowledgment of the resilience, history, and immense contributions of the Haitian-American community in New York. Now held in Brooklyn’s officially recognized Little Haiti District, this event serves as a bridge between cultural pride and community empowerment.
