The Jamaica Gospel Music Industry members donated money earned during the October “Hearts and Hands Benefit Concert for Stitchie,” demonstrating the continuous solidarity of the gospel music community in support of gospel singer Lt. Stitchie.
His wife, Mrs. Sophia Laing, and his manager, Mr. Raffique “Ali” Archibald, received a $611,646.00 check from the organizers, radio broadcasters Nadine Blair and Markland “Action” Edwards, during a recent worship service at The New Testament Church of God, 65 Waltham Park Road. Prince Hall, a gospel performer, was also there.

More than fifteen gospel musicians, including Jermaine Edwards, Sebastian Braham, Goddy Goddy, Junior Tucker, Sis. Patt, Johnmark Wiggan, and Jai Kingston performed in the same venue and donated their time and ministry without charge.
To assist raise money for Cleve “Stitchie” Laing’s recovery, the sound and video team jumped on board and gave their services without charge.
Markland Edwards, Sebastian Braham, Prince Hall, and Nadine Blair organized the event in less than two weeks, and with God’s wisdom and the kind support of the host church at Waltham Park New Testament, it was a huge success.
Since he is presently undergoing treatment at a medical facility, Stitchie’s family started GoFundMe more than a month ago to raise money to help with his medical bills.
