Healthfirst, the largest not-for-profit health insurance company in New York City, proudly announces a recognition ceremony for its 2018 Educational Leadership Breakfast series on Friday, June 1, at 8:30am at Medgar Evers College. New York State Senator Kevin Parker, who represents the 21st District including Flatbush, East Flatbush, Ditmas Park, Midwood, Kensington, Windsor Terrace, and Park Slope, joins the organization’s efforts in recognizing the outstanding work of educators and will acknowledge the invaluable work that several outstanding principals, assistant principals, parent coordinators, and parent teacher associations do to foster scholastic excellence in their district. The annual Educational Leadership breakfast in partnership with Healthfirst is a great opportunity that allows us to celebrate and honor the educators in our community. The resolutions presented at the ceremony are a small token of our appreciation for the work our educators do on a daily basis to prepare our children for a bright future,” stated State Senator Kevin Parker.
“For 25 years, Healthfirst has provided New Yorkers with access to quality healthcare while being actively involved the communities we proudly serve,” said George Hulse, Healthfirst Vice President of Community Engagement. “The Educational Leadership Breakfast series is emblematic of our continued commitment, as we honor dynamic leaders in our community who educate, engage, and empower our children daily.”
