4th Prime Minister of the Bahmas sworn into office

NASSAU, Bahamas (CMC) – Leader of the Free National Movement (FNM), Dr Hubert Minnis was sworn in as Prime Minister of The Bahamas in a ceremony scheduled on May 11, 2017. following the landslide victory. The official results showed that the FNM had won nine seats and the incumbent Progressive Liberal Party's (PLP) had secured one.

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti (CMC) – Haiti has been listed along with Venezuela as one of the riskiest countries in the world to do business.This is according to a new study published by property insurance group FM Global, based on data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Economic Forum and the World Bank.
